On 11 May, Dainippon Screen and Infoprint Solutions jointly announced that the combined sales and installations of the Screen Truepress Jet520 and IPS InfoPrint 5000, which is based on the Truepress Jet 520 engine, have now passed the 200 milestone. When we interviewed Screen’s Kyohei Fujisawa in Kyoto in end 2008, he indicated, “More than a 100 of our Truejet 520 systems are already sold. This includes our OEM sales mostly in the transactional market. Our own sales strength is in the commercial printing and newspaper markets . . .
