Pitambra Press is one of the largest manufacturers of text books in the country with a production capacity of one million a day. The fully equipped establishment in Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh contains 35 printing machines. Pitambra Press was started by Vivek Bansal in 2001, formerly a paper trader. While he is the chairman and managing director, he runs the press together with his wife who is a professional director in the company. Located in 14-acre plot of land, the complete under one roof establishment contains a design and prepress tools that drive a CtP from TechNova. The pressroom contains both sheetfed and web offset presses from manroland, Heidelberg, Komori, KBA, Polygraph, Perfect Rotary and many other international and Indian manufacturers.
