Among the several Urdu exhibitors, some of whom were displaying Islamicbooks, we came across Ahmad Ali Sheikh the proprietor of M/S SheikhMubarak Ali publishers, the only Pakistani exhibitor at the Delhi BookFair. They publish books mostly in Urdu and social sciences. In ourbrief but interesting conversation with Ahmad Ali Sheikh, he told ushow he has been coming to the Delhi Book Fair since its inception in1980 and many other fairs in Kolkatta, Patna, Bhopal and Muzaffarnagar.When asked about how the fairs have improved over the years, Sheikhmentioned that the Delhi Book Fair has improved over time and that theimprovement at World Book Fair has been commendable. ...cont´d
