Printers in Europe and elsewhere, who are aiming for compliance with quality colour printing standards such as ISO 12647, can do so through a rigorous auditing process controlled by Fogra, Ugra and some other bodies linked to national printers federations. In North America, however, such a certification process did not exist so far.
