A commercial book printer bets on digital

Gone are the days when publishers used to print thousands of copies of books and kept them stocked in their warehouses. The new world of print-only-what-you-need has reduced run-lengths to 100 to 1000 and also saves the cost of raw materials, especially paper, that are anyhow not used for any number of days. The concept is not new but still not universally adopted. Many in the traditional publishing and print industry still don’t get it.
