Quickprinting takes off!Small offset machine sales grow at 15 per cent

In June 1999 we wrote an article on "small offset" printing. At the time, the Quickprinting segment was just taking off. It was a fast growth area of the industry with more than 40 manufacturers, and installation of about 1500 machines a year including a large number of used machines. This was the strongest growth in any of our data collection areas, and it led us to predict that 16,000 machines would be purchased in the 10-year period to 2007-2008.
