At first, it looked like the thick fog was going to play mayhem with the Jaipur Literature Festival. Bhutan’s Queen Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck, Nigerian Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka and Indian playwright Girish Karnad got stuck for hours at Delhi airport, and many of the other participants were delayed by endless traffic jams on the highways leading into Jaipur. Also, some of the international delegates such as authors HL Gates and Andrew Lycett could not make it since Indian visa procedures have become more difficult recently. ...cont´d
