In a press conference at the British Council in New Delhi on 9 April 2009 Capexil, the Sahitya Akademi and the British Council announced the line up of publishers and authors taking part in the India Market Focus at the London Book Fair starting next week. The British Council and The London Book Fair will host (subsidise and pay) for the festivities. Sujata Sen, Director East India of the British Council said this would be the largest representation of Indian authors and writers ever assembled at a trade show. Some of the writers include Javed Akhtar, Sunil Gangopadhyay, Amit Chaudhuri, Namdeo Dhasal, Jaishree Mishra, Nandan Nilekani, Vikram Seth and Pavan Verma. ...cont´d
