The internationalisation of the Thiruvananthapuram Book Fair

The third edition of the Thiruvananthapuram Book Fair, which was held from 18 to 28 December, 2009, has been an extremely rich event, with hundreds of thousands of book lovers flocking in despite the sometimes rainy weather. More than Rs.1.5 crore worth of books were sold at the fair, and several events on children’s books, creative children camps, movie screenings and a three-day conference on copyright implementation were well attended. ...cont´d
