Since 2006 there has been a boom in the magazine publishing industrywhich has led to many commercial printers buying new heatset presses. This has happened mostly in South India with new Komoris coming to Kala Jyothi in Hyderabad and several to Rajhans in Bangalore. Additional newheatsets have come to Thomson (Goss 600D) and Print House (Komori) in Mumbai and to Manipal Power Press (Komori) in Manipal. In the north theonly new heatset press to be installed in several years is the Komoriat International Print-o-pac, although we believe another Goss is dueat another commercial printer. Dainik Jagran’s new Euroman is currentlyunder installation and commissioning at the new plant in Noida, and Dainik Bhaksar recently signed up for a Komori as well for their Noidaplant. Repro Offset in Mumbai also has two Goss heatsets on order. ...cont´d
