Three more Goss Uniliners installs at Deccan Chronicle Chennai and Hyderabad

4 of six double-width 4 x 1Uniliner S presses installed – two more to come

Deccan Chronicle Holdings installed its first 4x1 Goss Uniliner ‘S’ press in Chennai in April 2005. The company, based in Hyderabad invested in ten more new Goss presses to keep up with growing demand for colour advertising and high sales of its newspaper titles in southern India. Another Uniliner S has just been commissioned in Chennai on May 15. Hyderabad the home city of the Deccan Chronicle group also has two Uniliner ‘S’ presses currently under installation in addition to two Goss Community presses installed earlier. Goss will ship two additional Uniliner ‘S’ systems later this year. Thus the six Unliners and five Community presses will add up to the eleven presses that Venkattaram Reddy told us about at Liepzig and which we reported in our IFRA coverage in the November issue. ...cont´d
