WAN-IFRA’s Publish Asia Conference and IFRA India Expo were inaugurated by Reiner Mittelbach, CEO of WAN-IFRA and N Murali, of IFRA India and MD of The Hindu, on the morning of 23 September at the Chennai Trade Centre with more than 650 registered delegates and forty-six separate exhibition stands containing many more exhibiting products and brands. The expo although under pressure from the slowdown in the newspaper industry in developed countries, is already being claimed as the second largest newspaper expo in the world.
