Never has Indian journalism seen the job boom we see today. The dotcom mania may have fizzled out but a lot of journalists are being snapped up by enough existing dotcoms and new ones that keep being born. Anecdotal evidence suggests that dotcoms have hired at least a hundred journalists, mostly in Mumbai and Delhi, at 75% higher salaries.
