The first regional edition of the annual global World Press Trends confirms and quantifies Asia as the most dynamic market with newspapers continuing to grow alongside explosive growth in internet, broadband and mobile usage. The Asian edition of WAN-IFRA’s World Press Trends survey has been released this week to coincide with the Publish Asia conference being held alongside the IFRA Expo in Chennai this week. Newspaper circulation in Asia excluding Japan grew by 3.44 per cent in 2008 over the previous year, and has grown by 17.52 per cent over the last five years. ...cont´d
