The first format 8 sheetfed offset press with a perfecting system is about to start production at Himmer AG, Augsburg, Germany. The customer specified very demanding press acceptance tests which the ROLAND 900, XXL passed with flying colors. The perfecting system of the ROLAND 900, XXL with a maximum sheet size of 1310 x 1870 mm revolutionizes sheetfed offset printing: new efficiency benchmarks can now be set for print production and subsequent finishing. This perfecting press can print 64 A4 pages in one pass. For trouble-free finishing, the ROLAND InlineSlitter in the delivery divides the sheets into two straight-edged stacks that can be processed in standard folding machines. ...cont´d
