There are three FilmMaker4's at Sakal newspaper and one at Indiacom Limited (formerly known as Sesa Seat Information Systems Limited). Xante's FilmMaker4 laserprinter was seen at PRINTPACK 2003 in Mumbai. This is a desktop film system which has been designed specifically for output to transparent and translucent plastic films. This means, no more camera, darkroom, or expensive outsourcing costs. For a newspaper like Sakal, the FilmMaker4 provides daylight working on inexpensive film substrates without chemical processing at a minimal cost of ownership. ...cont´d
