The iGen3 heavy duty digital production press from Xerox can run a maximum sheet size of 14.33 x 22.5 inches (364 x 571 mm) at a speed of 1650 sheet an hour. This translates to 6600 A4 pages an hour. The iGen3 can run paper up to 350 gsm and a variety of rough, smooth, coated, uncoated papers as well as synthetic media. Xerox India has recalibrated the price of the iGen3 and has after a lull sold two of these digital production presses – one to a Delhi quick-copy shop and the other to a huge commercial printer and exporter who offers book printing in all kinds of print runs – from one to one million. ...cont´d
