Baldwin Technology Q1 net up 66 per cent

Baldwin Technology Company, Inc, a leading global manufacturer of printing press accessories and control equipment, has announced that its net sales for the first quarter ended September 30, 2005 increased 7 per cent or $2,648,000 to $42,645,000 compared to $39,997,000 for the first quarter in the previous year. Currency translation had an unfavorable effect of $249,000 on sales. Excluding the impact from a strengthening of the dollar versus the euro and the yen, sales were up $2,897,000. ...cont´d
